Just minutes away from the terminal on Lantau Island, Chek Lap Kok airport claims three of Hong Kong's best hotels.

The Regal Airport Hotel has 1171 rooms in contemporary design with plenty of natural light, ranging from standard to the 280m² Presidential Suite. Six restaurants serve a variety of cuisine, international, Japanese, Cantonese and regional Chinese in the Old Shanghai décor of the Dragon Inn.

The 14 floor Sky City Marriott claims 33 suites and 625 rooms, spacious by Hong Kong standard, with large desk, internet access, separate shower and sea or golf course view. There are three concierge levels, a gift shop and newspaper stand, a beauty salon, health club, spa and indoor pool.

The lounge overlooking the sea serves pastries and tapas while five restaurants cater to different tastes. Java+ is a casual coffee house for breakfast and light lunch, the Velocity Bar and Grill a modern bar for burgers, snacks and sports television broadcasts, and the Sky City Bistro for international fare, a la carte or buffet, including gourmet pizzas. The Red Zen bar specialises in Asian noodles and the Man Ho restaurant in country dishes from the Pearl River delta with excellent seafood.

The Novotel City Gate offers space and a contemporary décor, close to the City Gate Outlets and cable car to Ngong Ping cultural village. The 440 rooms include 250 non smoking and 13 suites. Rooms can accommodate up to two adults and a child. They come in a choice of superior, executive or suites, all with internet access and separate shower.

The Essence restaurant serves international food, the Olea Mediterranean dishes, such as pizzas, tapas and mezze. The lobby bar has live jazz and sports TV and there is a coffee shop for quality coffee and pastries on the bridge linking the Novotel to the shopping centre. On site facilities include an outdoor pool, fitness centre and hammam. Children are welcome with free accommodation when sharing with adults, special menus and play area.
